Myndighetenes stadig strengere krav til b\u00e6rekraftsrapportering\/ESG-rapportering har l\u00f8ftet denne ikke-finansielle rapporteringen fra \u00e5 v\u00e6re et lite avsnitt i \u00e5rsrapporten, inn til styrerommet \u2013 og dermed blitt en viktig del av bedriftens selskapsinformasjon.<\/div> \n

Virksomhetene har ogs\u00e5 blitt mer oppmerksom p\u00e5 fordelene med b\u00e6rekraftsrapportering. God dokumentasjon p\u00e5 b\u00e6rekraftarbeidet er med p\u00e5 \u00e5 styrke merkevaren.<\/strong>\u00a0Noe som kan gi konkurransefortrinn<\/strong>ved at bedriften vil fremst\u00e5 som mer kvalifisert ved f.eks. private og offentlige anbud. Dessuten kan det gi lavere kostnader<\/strong> ved lavere sykefrav\u00e6r og forsikringspremier. Det kan med andre ord koste dyrt \u00e5 ikke ta b\u00e6rekraft p\u00e5 alvor.<\/p>\n

Kjernen i en b\u00e6rekraftsrapport (ESG-rapport) bygger p\u00e5 tre temaer; milj\u00f8 (E), sosiale forhold (S) og \u00f8konomi (G). <\/span>I tillegg skal den redegj\u00f8re for foretakets forretningsmodell, vesentlighetsanalyse, konkrete tiltak og m\u00e5l mm. Rapporten b\u00f8r inneholde data som er sammenlignbare fra \u00e5r til \u00e5r. P\u00e5 denne m\u00e5ten kan virksomheten m\u00e5le sine prestasjoner opp mot tidligere p\u00e5virkning og sine m\u00e5l.<\/div>\n

I regnskapsloven er det kun krav om at styret skal signere p\u00e5 virksomhetens \u00e5rsberetning og \u00e5rsregnskap. I 4 av 50 \u00e5rs- og b\u00e6rekraftrapporter signerer styret p\u00e5 informasjon utover de lovp\u00e5lagte kravene. Styrets signatur p\u00e5 b\u00e6rekraftrapporter og annen informasjon utover \u00e5rsrapport og -beretning er relativt nytt, men vil gi interessenter tillit til at styret har tatt stilling til og godkjent informasjon som kommuniseres eksternt. Dette er ogs\u00e5 en indikasjon p\u00e5 at b\u00e6rekraft og verdiskaping er p\u00e5 virksomhetenes dagsorden, ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 h\u00f8yeste niv\u00e5.<\/div>\n

I rapporten B\u00e6rekraft p\u00e5 b\u00f8rs<\/em> rangeres selskapene av Position Green Group<\/a> med en karakter fra F til A i ESG-rapportering \u2013 og vi ser stor forbedring fra \u00e5r til \u00e5r.<\/div>\n

N\u00e5r det kommer til det \u00e5 kommunisere mye informasjon i form av data, tall og tekst er det viktig \u00e5 tenke p\u00e5 design. Grafiske virkemidler som illustrative bilder, beskrivende infografikk og faktabokser, vil gj\u00f8re rapporten b\u00e5de leservennlige og innbydende. Layout og typografi har stor betydning for leserne og samtidig skal bedriften visuelle profil ivaretas. The government\u2019s increased requirements for sustainability reporting have lifted this non-financial reporting from being a small section in the annual report, into the board room \u2013 and thus become an important part of the company\u2019s business information.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Companies have also become more aware of the benefits of sustainability reporting. Good sustainability documentation helps to strengthen the brand. Which may also give a competitive advantage when appearing more qualified in e.g. private and public tenders. Furthermore, it can result in lower costs by reducing sick leave and lowering insurance premiums. In other words, it can be expensive not to take sustainability seriously.<\/p>\n

The core of a sustainability report is based on three themes; environment (E), social conditions (S), and governance (G). In addition, it must explain the company\u2019s business model, materiality analysis, specific measures and targets, etc. The report should contain data that is comparable year by year. In this way, the company can measure its achievements against previous influences and its goals.<\/p>\n

The Accounting Act only requires the board to sign the company\u2019s annual report and annual accounts. In 4 out of 50 annual and sustainability reports, the board signs information beyond the statutory requirements. The board\u2019s signature on sustainability reports and other information beyond the annual report is relatively new, but will give stakeholders confidence that the board has viewed and approved the information that is communicated externally. This is also an indication that sustainability and value creation are on the business\u2019s agenda, also at the highest level.<\/p>\n

In the B\u00e6rekraft p\u00e5 b\u00f8rs<\/em> report by Position Green Group<\/a>, the companies are ranked by a grade from F to A \u2013 and the grades are improving year by year.<\/p>\n

When it comes to communicating a lot of information in the form of data, numbers and text, it is important to think about design. Graphic tools such as illustrative images, descriptive infographics and fact boxes, will make the report both reader-friendly and inviting. Layout and typography are of great importance to readers, and at the same time the company\u2019s visual profile must be maintained.
